Reynaldo Arroyo, 23, received his first haircut in 15 years when he enlisted in the Army, according to a Facebook video.
Arroyo, who enlisted in Salt Lake City, Utah, as an infantryman, said he was donating his hair to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that makes wigs for children with illnesses that cause hair loss.
"Hopefully, some little girl's gonna get it," he said.
"I'm just really excited to be enlisting," he said in the video.
