The Department of Veterans Affairs and its administrations intend to resolve all veterans' appeals made before February 2019 in about three years. The Veterans Benefits Administration, the Veterans Health Administration and the National Cemetery Administration plan to resolve non-remanded appeals by the end of 2020, and the Board of Veterans Appeals (BVA) is aiming for a December 2022 completion date by first chipping away at the number of hearing-requested appeals.
