SpaceX and NASA have set an April 15, 2022 launch date for the Crew-4 mission to the International Space Station. The news was confirmed by agency officials who say a SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule will launch on a Falcon 9 rocket. The Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren and Robert Hines, as well as European Space Agency's Samantha Cristoforetti, will be on board. A fourth crew member, who has yet to be named officially, will also be on board. SpaceX and NASA are targeting Oct. 31 for the launch of the Crew-3 mission. Crew-1 launched in November 2020 and returned to Earth in May after completing its six-month-long mission.
