A security incident temporarily shut down two entrance gates at Fort Eustis, Virginia, on Wednesday.
The gates were shut down around 2 p.m., according to social media posts from Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE). Langley Air Force Base and Fort Eustis merged in 2010, though the two facilities are 18 miles apart.
Officials could not provide more details on the incident by press time.
"The security incident at Fort Eustis has been resolved," JBLE posted on Facebook.
