Amazon Prime Veterans Day Discount 2021 Update:
Officials with Amazon.com said they do not plan to announce a Veterans Day discounts for veterans, active duty troops or their families for 2021.

If watching the new "Jack Ryan" season on Amazon Prime and getting free Amazon shipping is on your to-do list, you'll definitely want to take advantage of this new 2019 Amazon Prime Veterans Day membership discount.
Starting today and running through Nov. 11, veterans, active-duty troops and Guard and Reserve members can get a one-year Amazon Prime membership for $79 -- that's $40 off the regular price. And if you already have an account, you can renew your Prime membership at the lower rate.
Unlike promotions from other retailers like Target and Kohl's, the Amazon Prime Veterans Day discount is not available for dependents or veteran family members. However, if you're anything like me, your household shares a Prime account. That means the whole family can take advantage of this Veterans Day deal after all.
How to Sign Up for the Amazon.com Veterans Day Prime Discount
To sign up for the discount, Amazon needs to verify your eligibility. Go here to sign-up for the discount.
You get three tries to push the sign-up through. After three, the system will kick it back as being used too many times. That means if you experience a bug while signing up, you might need to contact customer support.
According to Amazon you can email them at firstname.lastname@example.org. You’ll need to provide:
Date of Birth:
What is your current status - Active Duty, Veteran, Retiree or Reserve?
- If you are a Veteran or Retiree, what is your discharge month and year?
- If you are active duty, what is your .mil email address?
