The classic television series "M*A*S*H" may offer a comic take on war, but the show's characters often face real crises in the field. Now a Facebook video is turning to "M*A*S*H" for advice as many of us face the COVID-19 quarantine.

The video was made by Facebook user Frank Vacciarello, who wrote in the post that goes with the video, "I have sincerely believed for a long time that whatever issue life puts in front of us M*A*S*H had a solution."

The show was remarkably on point for our current dilemma. Just check out the topics covered in Frank's video:

  • Maj. Frank Burns Charles Winchester offers outstanding advice on how to wash your hands.
  • Lt. Col. Henry Blake and Cpl. Radar O'Reilly offer a guide to social distancing.
  • Maj. Margaret Houlihan is not going to let Maj. Charles Winchester get away with touching his face before operating on a patient.
  • Capt. Hawkeye Pierce gives Father Francis Mulcahy some invaluable advice about working from home.
  • The entire crew tries to figure out how to deal with a toilet paper shortage.

If you're in need of a "M*A*S*H" fix while you're stuck at home, you can buy the complete series on digital for around a hundred bucks or stream it on Hulu. Stay safe and wash your hands!

Frank Vacciarello reached out and let us know that it's Winchester not Burns masked up and washing his hands in the first part of the clip. If you want, you can check out the video on Frank's Facebook page.
