The Black Knights finished with an 11-2 record, nine straight wins and broke a pair of college football single-game bowl record in the win against Houston. ABOUT PRICE ATKINSON

The son of a Vietnam veteran and former officer in the United States Army, "Yards & Stripes" founder and host Price Atkinson worked four years in the Sports Information Department at the U.S. Naval Academy. With a journalism background as a graduate and student-athlete at the University of Kentucky, he did a pair of stints writing for The Greenville News before transitioning into radio as the co-host of a local ESPN Upstate radio drive-time show. He lives in Greenville, S.C. with his wife and two sports-crazed kids.
