Facing its greatest pilot shortage in its history, the Air Force is contemplating the return of enlisted pilots.

A portion of the Air National Guard's F-15 Eagle fleet at Kingsley Field has been grounded, Military.com has learned.

Gen. David Goldfein said there is a push to get pilots more flight time, in tandem with producing more pilots in the ranks.

All the services now have a special "remote" device to recognize service members who operate unmanned aerial systems.
