More On Space Force

The U.S. Air Force has identified 23 organizations and units that will transition to the U.S. Space Force.

The new U.S. Space Force is moving forward with plans to announce key information about its development.

The DoD will make its choice "late in the year, or early next year," Air Force Secretary Barrett said during an AFA event.

Some troops will have to wait longer to join.

The sixth and newest U.S. military service may also be the one most appealing to and inclusive of women.

Maj. Gen. Clinton Crosier said Space Force now has built a staff of about 110 in its headquarters element.

Chief of Space Operations Gen. John Raymond named Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Roger Towberman as his senior enlisted adviser.

Some names floating around already include Guardians, Sentinels and Vanguards.

You can't have a U.S. Space Force without the Space Guard.

The new Space Force is set to receive healthy investment in the fiscal 2021 budget as the service gets off the ground.
