Military Success Stories

TRUMPF Veteran Testimonial: Eduardo Orozco

I served proudly in the United States Army as a Sergeant. In the military, I learned about electricity and mechanical machinery as a Power Generation Tech. I navigated around the world from California to Germany, Israel and then, to the Iraq war in 2007. I was the Lead Gun truck NCO/Navigator for recovery ops OIF7/8. When I finished my tours of duty, I worked for other companies and I eventually found my way to TRUMPF. Hired as a TRUMPF Inc. Field Service Engineer, I put my experience into practice and learned about the systems and laser machines that our customers proudly use to create great things -- from the smallest laser precision part all the way components created on our machines that go into outer space. I continue to repair machinery and teach our customers how to navigate new systems. In the field, I meet with owners and operators to help create great customer relationships with TRUMPF. I will always be proud that I served in the military and now, I can say I am proud to work for a company that cares about our veterans. TRUMPF has been a great place to work for me to work. It's not just a job after the military; it's an exciting and rewarding career.

TRUMPF Veteran Testimonial: Kegan Mullan

I served four years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps as a 0311 Infantry Rifleman with V2/1 (2nd Battalion 1st Marine Regiment) at Camp Pendelton, California. I deployed overseas and participated in the 31st MEU (Marine Expeditionary Unit) operation, Talisman Sabre (A joint operation of the U.S. and other allied nation militaries as a response force in the South Pacific). My training and areas of travel took me to locations such as Okinawa, Japan, Australia, and the Philippines.

My military service instilled in me the values of discipline, teamwork, leadership and work ethic – which I now apply to my professional position as an Applications Apprentice at TRUMPF Inc.
