KC-46 Pegasus to Replace KC-135

    The Boeing KC-46A Pegasus is slated to begin replacing the aging KC-135 Stratotanker. The U.S. Air Force has ordered 179 KC-46As from Boeing, with 18 to be delivered by 2017. The Pegasus made its first flight on September 25, 2015 - meeting the latest deadline for the new air tanker.
