Joint Forcible Entry Airborne Operation

    The 1st and 2nd Brigade Combat Teams of the 82nd Airborne Division send Chemical Biological Weapon Entry teams to conduct a Joint Forcible Entry airborne operation into Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. Following entry they conduct a week long series of chemical weapon reconnaissance missions in the Incident Responder Training Facility and the Chemical Defense Training Facility. The teams are comprised of a Chem Recon PLT, maneuver security elements (2nd BN, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment), Explosive Ordinance Disposal attachments, and command and control elements.
