Female Coastie Navigates C-130s

Comstock's magazine spent the day at the Coast Guard Air Station located in Sacramento, California where we met Petty Officer 2nd Class Amanda Hansen, an avionics electrical technician and a navigator. After we flew on a C130 during a training exercise, Petty Officer 2nd Class Amanda Hansen talked with us about her background, the job, what it's like being in a male dominated environment and how she is able to balance both work and family.
