Assault Craft Unit 4 in Action

Sailors maintain and operate landing craft air cushion (LCAC) vehicles assigned to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, embarked aboard USS Bataan (LHD 5). The multi-purpose amphibious assault ship is the flagship for the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
