US Force Recon Marines Training

Video of how Marines and Sailors with the Force Reconnaissance Platoon of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit conduct a vessel board, search and seizure of the U.S. Naval Ship Dahl in preparation for an upcoming deployment. Because the Dahl is not a war ship, the training provided a unique opportunity to familiarize the unit with the layout of transport and merchant vessels. The training is valuable because Force Recon Marines provide the only VBSS capability in the Asia Pacific. 12.5.2011
