Fitz Fires CIWS

    The Arleigh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) fires its Phalanx Close-in weapons system (CIWS) during a live-fire drill. Fitzgerald is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
