US Mortar Crew Attacks 70 Taliban

    Kunar Province, Afghanistan - In the infamous Korengal Valley a mortar team initiates contact with a force of 70+ Taliban fighters. The M224 mortar fires 60mm projectiles manually, using preset calculations for distance and direction. After the first impact, Taliban fighters begin firing wildly at the position allowing the U.S. forces to pinpoint their exact location.
