Pipeline Fire Sparks Syria Blackout

    AP -- Power gradually returned to the Syrian capital after a blackout swept across parts of Damascus and other areas of the country on Wednesday. Syria's state news agency reported the government blamed the outage on a rebel attack to a gas pipeline. (Oct. 24)
