Paratroopers Reenact D-Day Jump

    A crowd gathers, many in period costumes and uniforms, and treks 2 miles to watch paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division and other Allied nations participate in a commemorative jump near the Normandy village of Sainte-Mere-Eglise on June 8, 2014. Following their jump, paratroopers march past a cheering crowd. Nearly 1,000 paratroopers participated in the mass air drop as part of the 70th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landing in Normandy, France.
