WWII Veteran Celebrates 105th Birthday!

Share

CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - He fought for freedom, dined with intellectuals, and helped America become a superpower. Sunday, World War II veteran Carrol Dick celebrated his 105th birthday and Fox 2 was fortunate enough to be there! Carroll Dick won't get tired of the "happy birthday" song -- even though he's heard it 105 times. Mr. Dick or "Super G" as he's called grew up in northern Michigan. He served in the Navy during WW II and even worked on the Manhattan Project. 105 years young and that time has not dimmed the light in his eye or blunted his sharp sense of humor. We wish Carrol Dick a happy birthday and many more!
