USS Roosevelt Fires SM-2 & SM-3 Missiles

The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) fires missiles during exercise Formidable Shield 2019. Formidable Shield improves allied interoperability in a live-fire, integrated air and missile defense environment using NATO command and control reporting structures. Nine nations are participating by contributing ships and aircraft, including Canada, Denmark, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
